Why Do I need Video for My Web Site?

 

Swanson SEO Services says you need a video for your website!  You reply, but I don’t know how to make a video?  Why should I?  My business has nothing to do with video.

Let me tell you that if you are on the Internet, then your business has something to do with video.  People have always been lazy.  They may only read a few words of text on a page, but they will watch video after video on YouTube or other similar video sharing sites. 

Video helps your website gain notoriety and increase its brand.  One of the main reasons, however, to make a video is because you can put a link to your Web Site on it.  Check out the highlighted portion of this next screenshot:

I still see a nervous look on your face about making a video.  Let me ease your fears.  You do not have to do a cameo, memorize lines, talk or do anything!  A video can be created as a simple slideshow (similar to PowerPoint)  and put music.  It is also quite simple to add a your logo so you will have a branded video.

If you feel comfortable talking to, but not being on camera, you can add a monologue to the movie for a personal touch.
